You’ve become a part of everyone, Yune! ;_;
Ikoku Meiro no Croisée manages to end with a touching episode. Not out of my expectations, and I’m happy, to say the least.
So in this episode, more about Claude’s past is revealed (finally). Apparently his father died of a working accident at the department store, which would explain his reluctance to let Yune go that place.
Also, d’aww, Yune’s accepted as part of everyone’s life.
Even mine! ;A;
I want a second season! I want moar Yune! D:
And Claude, you lucky bastard.
Final thoughts as follows~
Enjoyed it throughout. Come on, don’t tell me you don’t enjoy seeing Yune every week.
Good story. Character development was aplenty even though there were only 13 episodes. Also, lots of symbolism, which I liked. Would’ve liked more development with respect to Camille and Claude’s past, though.
Liked the art generally for the entire series. Everyone’s drawn so well! Yune, of course, takes it away. <3
Can’t complain about the animation, generally.
Music was pretty good. Liked the ED especially. So emotional.
Rewatch value: 6/10
If for Yune, yes. Also, if I’m in the mood for some French~ :3
Favorite character: Yune, duh.
Favorite episode: Episode 12. Awesome ending.
