Why you should watch Chuunibyou Demo Koi ga Shitai! (if you haven’t already)

With Chuunibyou Demo Koi ga Shitai! (henceforth referred to as Chu2Koi) having ended this week, I thought it might be great to make a post like this.

Now, I don’t do this for just any anime series (in fact, I think this is the first time I’ve done this). Heck, I would’ve done this for Hanasaku Iroha as well, but it’s a little too late for that, right?

Anyway, for those who haven’t picked up Chu2Koi, hopefully this might make you change your mind.

Actually, screw that. I’m making this for the lulz.

1. The storyline is amazing.

I’m going to assume that most people out there look at the storyline of an anime when they decide whether to pick it up or not.

Then, I’ll tell you that the storyline’s amazing, pick it up.

There’s not much to say about the storyline (unless you want to get spoiled), but the story is rather well-written and the ending gives a rather nice touch to the series, not leaving any loopholes so I’ll leave it at that.

Yeah, the story’s amazing, just pick this show up.

2. The characters are amazing.

Some people like to watch anime based on how interesting their characters are. It’s okay, Chu2Koi satisfies that condition as well.

Look, you have Rikka, the female lead, who has a chronic case of chuunibyou…

And she’s pretty cute, too.

There’s Nibutani too, who looks to be every boy’s perfect girl.

And she’s pretty cute, too.

And then there’s Kumin who, if you didn’t know loved sleeping, could be passed off as having narcolepsy because she sleeps at everywhere and anywhere with her pillow(s).

And she’s pretty cute too.

Last but not least there’s Dekomori, who’s Rikka’s servant and has some uh, some things tied to her twintails. Looks like sandbags to me.

Edit: Apparently those are door knob covers. Uhhhhhh, okay.

And she’s pretty cute too.

In short, the characters are all cute so go for it.

Oh right, I missed out a character, didn’t I?

This is the male lead, Yuuta. He used to have chuunibyou, but now he finds his past embarrassing. A good complement to Rikka, eh?

But I bet you don’t care about that.

ONLY THE GIRLS MATTERS AMIRITE.

3. The animation is amazing.

There’re also people out there who watches anime based on the animation quality, right?

KyoAni always delivers~

KyoAni’s the one behind the animation of Chu2Koi. ‘Nuff said.

4. The music is amazing.

For those who watch anime for the music, no worries. The OP and ED’s pretty catchy in Chu2Koi.

I don’t know what to say other than that really, so check them out and decide for yourself.

This is the OP.

And this is the ED.

I think they’re both great though, so yeah.

5. The seiyuu cast is amazing.

This is probably something that very little people care about, other than seiyuu otakus like me. But still, the seiyuu cast of Chu2Koi won’t disappoint.

Uchida Maaya, Akasaki Chinatsu, Asakura Azumi, Uesaka Sumire and Fukuyama Jun. Come on, it’s a pretty good cast already.

Look, they’re such lovely angels!

WATCH IT FOR THE SEIYUU IF NOT FOR ANYTHING ELSE. THEY’RE REALLY CUTE OKAY.

Alright, those are the reasons why you should watch the series.

Actually, I wasn’t doing this seriously, this was more of a lulz post than anything else, decided to do this just for fun.

In fact I just wanted to rave about the seiyuu cast ww

So uh, that was a relatively long post. In case you weren’t actually paying attention and just looking at the nice pictures (I know, the last picture’s really pretty right!), here’s a summary for you.

TL;DR Chu2Koi is amazing, watch it
